
Sofi Sanabria-Guillen
Bio
Sofi Sanabria-Guillen is the Undergraduate Research Programs Coordinator for the Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships (CSEP) at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She was born and raised in Anaheim, California, and earned a B.A. degree in History from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. In 2022, she received her Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Culture and Development from UC Santa Barbara, completing qualitative research that analyzed the experiences of first-generation college students supporting their peers through mentorship. Beginning her role in 2023, Sofi is responsible for coordinating training programs to support the educational and professional development of STEM students and oversees the EUREKA, SACNAS, MARC, and Beckman Scholars programs at UCSB.
