Bio

Arica Lubin, Associate Director, oversees scholarly and career preparation for undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars in science and engineering.  Since joining CSEP in 2010, she has collaborated with administrators, faculty and staff at UCSB and nationwide on projects to both broaden diversity in science through undergraduate early research and scholarship programs and help trainees prepare for successful and gratifying careers through graduate student and postdoc professional skill development initiatives. She received her B.S. and Ph.D., with Prof. Kevin Plaxco, in Biochemistry at UCSB.
