The Diagnostics for Monitoring Disease-Undergraduate Research Experience & Knowledge Award (DiaMondD-UREKA) program is a summer international exchange program designed to enrich the academic experience of undergraduates from Dublin City University (DCU) and UCSB in science, technology, mathematics and engineering (STEM) disciplines. The exchange places students from both schools in a 10-week summer research experience with either the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute (BDI) at DCU or the Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships (CSEP) at the California Nanosystems Institute (CNSI) where they gain valuable experience at a research institution abroad.
