Transportation to SST

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 22! Plan on arriving at 9:45 am, so that we can start at 10:00am. We will be meeting in the Elings Hall first floor lobby. This is when you must turn in all your completed forms with parent/guardian signatures. Students will then go with their course instructor(s) to the classrooms.

Lunch will be provided at 12:30pm. Please let us know by emailing, if you plan to attend this optional lunch.

Getting to UCSB by bike: The beautiful Coastal Bike Route comes directly to campus. See http://www.trafficsolutions.info/bikemap-south.htm for maps of bike routes. There is a large bicycle parking lot next to Broida Hall (close to the CNSI; see campus map) as well as a bike rack behind Elings Hall in the Delivery Lot right next to lot 10. Lock your bike!

Getting to UCSB by bus: Lines 11, 23, 25, 24x, 15x and 27 all come directly to UCSB on Saturdays. UCSB can be reached from other lines by transfer. See http://www.sbmtd.gov/ for routes and schedules. The bus drop off is directly in front of Elings Hall.

Parking at UCSB: Please be aware that you must pay for parking, by cash or credit card at any one of the automatic kiosks that are in each lot. The rate is $3.00 for all day on Saturdays.

The closest lot to the CNSI building (Elings Hall) is lot 10, a parking structure. See the interactive map at http://www.tps.ucsb.edu/mapFlash.aspx for the location of lot 10, and all other campus lots. If lot 10 is full, your best alternative bet is lot 16/18.
